Why was LibreNode created and who runs it?

LibreNode was launched on March 17, 2025 as a passion project by Tech1k, built to give back to the community. With years of experience in computing and programming, Tech1k created this platform to provide free tools and privacy-focused services for those who need them while supporting the open-source community.

Why does the site look horrible?

I'm glad you noticed the great use of CSS! In all seriousness, this site is just a landing page for our services, and it doesn't need to look pretty. The internet has become a bloated mess of excessive CSS, JS, and useless fluff. This site is designed to be simple, fast, and lightweight—giving you exactly what you need. Nothing more, nothing less.
